Meet Dr. Anthony Manes
When you meet Dr. Tony, you can tell he is interested, and you have his full attention. He wants to get to know you and hear your story. Being able to diagnose your problem, treat you through the process and see your health change is gratifying. He loves what he does and gives it his all.
Choosing His Direction
Dr. Tony always knew he wanted to be in the medical profession, maybe a doctor, and help people. He realized, at some point, that he didn’t understand medicine and medication. How was a pill smart enough to make it to the problem area? He felt led to do something with more patient interaction.
While in college, he suffered a debilitating sports injury. That was his introduction to chiropractic. He was able to recover with chiropractic care. He continued to learn more about the field and shadowed other chiropractors before making his decision.
An Education in Chiropractic and More
Dr. Tony graduated from Northwestern College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then enrolled in the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2006.
While in school, Dr. Tony had the opportunity to travel to India with Dr. Gina, his wife. Together, they provided chiropractic care in various hospitals and schools. Helping people in another country, without any access to regular chiropractic care, was a tremendous experience.
EXPLORE CHIROPRACTIC
The Practice Today
Dr. Tony continues to share his expertise and passion with his community. More and more people need chiropractic, but they don’t know about it. He wants everyone to see the benefits of chiropractic care. Dr. Tony believes chiropractors can lead patients into something other than doctors and medication.
Outside of the Practice
When Dr. Tony is not working with patients, you can find him doing something with his children; 7-year-old Mia and 5-year-old Geano. Along with his wife Gina, whom he met at Palmer, family time is usually spent outdoors. When he has time, Dr. Tony enjoys golf, fishing and baseball.
